Refocus was a one-night exhibition exploring what happens to creative professionals when an industry disappears. With Louisiana's film tax incentives gutted and productions moving on, the people who built careers behind the camera turned their attention elsewhere. The work on show that night had never been seen publicly before — paintings, photographs, objects — made in the margins of a industry in retreat.
